STAARS is a summer camp and an extended hours academic/business music model for middle school and high school students to learn how to create and produce a music video and learn the business associated with  the 4 P's:

 

• Product

• Planning

• Preparation

• Presentation

 

The 8-wk camp and core prgram operates five days a week from 8:00am – 3:00pm.

Students learn (Grade Level Appropriate)

 

• Entrepreneurship

• Mathematics

• Reading

• Technology

• Music Video Photography

• Language Sampler

• Physical Activity and Field Trips

Our strategy involves the constructs of motivation, culture, and social cognition to establish a climate where learners are more inclined to engage in the learning experience.

 

Participants apply academic skills in reading and mathematics as they plan, prepare, and present deliverables. Work done contributes to participants  mastery of basic skills.  Our two track program offers the learner an opportunity to experience, “the behind the scenes”, business elements of the music industry.
